The CALL in Crawford & Sebastian Counties, a nonprofit dedicated to providing a home for every child in foster care, is proud to announce it has been awarded a grant of $110,000 from the Whitaker Family Foundation. This transformational funding will support biological families who use the Family Visitation Center at The CALL Support Center and local foster and adoptive homes with tangible needs and services.
The grant will support efforts to promote safe and lasting family reunification, reduce barriers to stability for children in foster care, and enhance support for both biological and foster/adoptive parents. With this funding, The CALL aims to expand opportunities for families to reconnect after separation and build stronger, more resilient family units. In addition, the organization will provide targeted training and educational resources to strengthen parenting skills and support the emotional and mental well-being of both children and caregivers.
The Whitaker Family Foundation, known for its commitment to children’s healthcare and education, selected The CALL through a competitive application process recognizing organizations creating measurable, lasting change.
This grant marks a significant milestone for The CALL, further validating its role as a leader in the River Valley and setting the stage for long-term sustainability and growth. For more information about The CALL and its programs, visit TheCALLinArkansas.org.
