Fort Smith, AR –  September 23, 2024 –  The Levitt AMP Fort Smith Music Series wraps up with an unforgettable finale this Friday, September 27, featuring the dynamic duo Larry & Joe! Larry Bellorín, a legend of Venezuelan Llanera music, and Joe Troop, a GRAMMY-nominated bluegrass and old-time musician from North Carolina, come together for a fusion of Venezuelan and Appalachian folk music. Their performance is a powerful blend of harp, banjo, cuatro, fiddle, and more, showcasing their unique talents and the universal language of music. Both versatile multi-instrumentalists and singer-songwriters, Larry & Joe offer a show that transcends borders, merging their distinct musical traditions while sharing stories of resilience and the intersections of music and social movements. The Levitt AMP Fort Smith Music Series presents free, family-friendly concerts to the public for the fall series at the Riverfront Amphitheater, 121 Riverfront Drive, Fort Smith. The series  features a diverse lineup of high-caliber talent spanning genres including Soul, Tejano, Country, Rock, and Folk.

The public is invited to bring their own picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs to the concerts. There will be food/drink vendors, a KidsZone, and a vendor Marketplace. Pets are welcome. Admission is free.

This music series is made possible through the generosity of the Mortimer and Mimi Levitt Foundation as well as sponsors, the City of Fort Smith and Dream Alliance Foundation. Main Street Fort Smith hopes to embody the spirit of the Levitt Foundation by “creating welcoming, inclusive destinations where the power of free, live music brings people together and invigorates community life”.
