MEDIA RELEASE
Acts at Bost and ACHE School of Occupational Therapy Present: Santa Flip-Flops

In the whimsical town of Holiday Haven, chaos ensues as a group of eccentric characters, led by Old Man Winter, Mrs. Claus, and Naughty the Elf, conspire to convince Santa Claus to move Christmas to July.

As the curtain rises, we find Mrs. Claus, disgruntled by the cold weather and longing for a summer vacation planting the idea of relocating Christmas to July in Old Man Winter’s mind. Old Man Winter is delighted with the thought of having winter all to himself. With the mischievous Naughty the Elf on their side, they begin their campaign to sway Santa’s opinion.

Meanwhile, word spreads through the town of Holiday Haven like wildfire. The other holiday characters—Easter Bunny, Cupid, Mother’s Day, and more—find themselves torn between supporting or opposing the radical idea. Some see it as an opportunity for change and adventure, while others fear the disruption it would cause to their traditions and schedules.

As tensions rise and alliances shift, the town becomes divided into factions, with heated debates and humorous clashes between the holidays. Cupid, representing Valentine’s Day, teams up to rally support for the change, while Mother’s Day and the Fourth of July vehemently oppose the idea, fearing the change.

What will happen? Will Santa flip flop and agree to move Christmas or will the other holidays disrupt the plans? Join us at 6 pm on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 at the ACHE Research Institute Health and Wellness Center, 1000 Fianna Way, Fort Smith, Arkansas to find out.
