May 1, 2023 | News & Events

The Alma Education and Arts Foundation, Alma Arkansas, announces that it will award $133,500 to 83 deserving 2023 graduating seniors from Alma High School.
This is the largest annual amount awarded in the 22 year history of the Foundation, and this year includes $20,000 in awards from the Skokos Mission Scholarship Fund. Since 2002, the AEAF has awarded a total of $1,497,600 in scholarships to Alma Seniors.
In addition to the Foundation Endowment, funding for the scholarships is received from donations via area businesses, private individuals, memorials, and net earnings from the Professional Season of Entertainment at the Skokos Performing Arts Center.
These scholarships are both need and merit based, and are awarded to students pursuing higher education in all disciplines and at diverse institutions, including traditional colleges, universities, as well as technical and trade schools.
The scholarship recipients will be announced at the Senior Awards Assembly,  May 4th at 1pm, in the David Woolly Performance Hall (Skokos Performing Arts Center, Alma High School)
The Foundation wishes to congratulate our Senior Class and all Alma District educators and support staff who will celebrate this year’s “success stories” in the graduating class of 2023. We extend our sincere thanks to all our supporters who have invested in our community and future leaders.
