Artemis Project Announces “Trash to Treasure Street Market”

Apr 1, 2025 | Latest News

On Saturday, May 17th, from 8 AM to 3 PM, the Artemis Project will host the Trash to Treasure Street Market at 9220 Hwy 71 S, Fort Smith, AR 72916. This one-of-a-kind event is dedicated to transforming discarded lives into cherished treasures.

At its heart, Trash to Treasure is about second chances. Many animals have been abandoned, treated like trash, and left to fend for themselves. But through adoption, they become valued, loved, and irreplaceable members of a family. This event creates an opportunity for these animals to find their forever homes while embracing the theme of repurposing and renewal.

In addition to pet adoptions, the market will feature:

  • Vendor Shopping – A mix of local artisans, small businesses, and individuals selling personal items without the hassle of hosting a garage sale.
  • Raffles – Attendees will have the chance to win exciting prizes while supporting the Artemis Project’s mission.
  • Food Vendors – Delicious food and refreshments to enjoy while browsing the market.

This event is open to the public, and all proceeds support the Artemis Project’s ongoing rescue efforts. Whether you’re looking to adopt, shop, or simply enjoy a great community event, the Trash to Treasure Street Market is the perfect way to make a difference.
