Baptist Health-Fort Smith invites stroke survivors, caregivers, and community members to its monthly Stroke Support Group Meeting on Friday, April 11, at 9 a.m. in the Baptist Health Glass Classroom at the hospital.

This month’s meeting will feature Joe Bridges, PT, of Baptist Health Therapy Center-Fort Smith, who will discuss stroke basics, the recovery process and strategies for overcoming or managing residual effects of a stroke. Attendees are encouraged to share their real-life struggles so the group can work together to problem-solve and improve quality of life.

The event is free and open to the public, with no RSVP required. Community members can also join virtually at Baptist-Health.co/BHFSStroke.

Baptist Health is committed to improving the health and well-being of our community through compassionate care, education, and support. Our Stroke Support Group is just one of the many ways we strive to provide ongoing assistance and resources for stroke survivors and their families. Each month, the Stroke Support Group covers a different topic related to stroke and post-stroke care, providing a valuable resource for those personally affected by stroke or simply interested in learning more.
