Get ready for the newest theater production by the legendary ACTS program! Not familiar with ACTS? It’s a community-based initiative that creates opportunities for individuals of all abilities to engage in the performing arts. At the same time, it encourages occupational therapy students to explore the empowerment of human capabilities through artistic expression. This incredible partnership is led by Dr. Jennifer Moore and unites the Occupational Therapy Department at the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE) with Bost, Inc.

The ACTS program currently includes around 40 Bost actors, volunteers, and staff from both Bost and ACHE. Participants are empowered to use their creativity, working together to bring the play to life—from writing dialogue and designing sets to creating props and costumes.

This year’s production is titled “The Treasure Within.” In this thrilling adventure, a team of archaeologists sets out on a quest to discover the greatest treasure of all: happiness. Their journey begins with an archaeological dig, where they uncover a mysterious artifact pointing to a legendary treasure hidden somewhere in the world.

As the team follows the clues, their adventure takes them to incredible locations, including Disney World, Antarctica, a fairy tale kingdom, and what may be a haunted mansion. Along the way, they face setbacks and challenges that test their courage, wisdom, and perseverance. Will they ever find the elusive treasure?

Additionally, there will be a raffle featuring beautiful artwork created by the artists in the Arts at Bost Art Classes. Funds raised from the raffle will support the Arts at Bost program.

Join us for this unforgettable performance on Tuesday, April 15th, at 6:00 PM at the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education Research Institute Health and Wellness Center, located at 1000 Fianna Way in Fort Smith, AR. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind show!
