Erin Cowger joins ASPSF as Director of Development

Springdale, Ark. (March 20, 2024) — Statewide nonprofit Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund (ASPSF) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Erin Cowger as its first Director of Development.

With over 12 years of experience in fundraising, Erin brings a wealth of expertise and passion to the role. Her proven track record of cultivating strategic partnerships and securing funding will be instrumental in advancing ASPSF’s mission.

“We are delighted to welcome Erin to our team,” ASPSF Executive Director Ruthanne Hill said. “Under her leadership, we will be able to expand scholarships and developmental services, helping more single parents raise their families out of poverty.”

Working closely with senior leadership and development staff, Erin will create the annual development plan and direct staff fundraising efforts.

“I’m excited to join ASPSF and travel around the state to meet the incredible donors who’ve made this mission possible for over 30 years,” Erin said. “I look forward to meeting and building relationships with donors, staff, and scholarship recipients.”

Prior to ASPSF, Erin was the Associate Director of Development for the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville’s Fulbright College of Arts & Sciences. Additionally, she brings nonprofit experience from her time at JDRF International.

Erin and her husband live in northwest Arkansas with their three young children and two dogs. An Arkansas native, she holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
