Thomas Jacques of the King Biscuit Radio show broadcast on station KFFA in Helena Arkansas will be the special guest of the November 4 meeting of the Fort Smith Historical Society. This special meeting will be held in the Fort Smith Museum of History at 320 Rogers Avenue in Fort Smith. Jacques hosts the longest running blues radio program in America and facilitates the King Biscuit Blues Festival. His radio program is popular with local audiences and his presentations on the Helena Cultural Center and the King Biscuit Hour are entertaining. The doors open at the museum at 5:30, and the program begins at 6pm. Light refreshments will be provided. There is no charge, and everyone is welcome.
