Western Arkansas Ballet Presents its 39th Annual Production of The Nutcracker

 Western Arkansas Ballet announces the 39th Annual performance of The NutcrackerSaturday, December 21 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 22 at 2:00 p.m.   Artistic Director, Jared Mesa, leads the cast that brings the classic holiday ballet journeying to the Land of Sweets to life.  The cast includes over 115 local children and adults and is joined by WAB alumnus and River Valley native, Kelsey Corder dancing in the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy.  Kelsey currently dances professionally at American Midwest Ballet in Omaha, Nebraska.  Casey Kelley, also with American Midwest Ballet, accompanies her as the Cavalier.  The Sugar Plum Fairy, the benevolent ruler of the Kingdom of Sweets, greets Clara and the Nutcracker Prince upon their entry during Act II of the ballet. She and her Cavalier perform the grand pas de deux, the culmination of this holiday ballet. The Nutcracker proves to be a magical event for all who attend; get your tickets today!
