The Fort Smith Boys & Girls Club announces it received a three-year grant donation totaling $12,000 from Arkansas Oklahoma Gas, a subsidiary of Summit Utilities, Inc. The Fort Smith Boys & Girls Club will receive a $4,000 grant from AOG in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Beth Presley, CEO of the Fort Smith Boys & Girls Club, is honored to accept the grant. “The Fort Smith Boys & Girls Club is very blessed to have the support of Arkansas Oklahoma Gas. With these funds, our organization will invest in quality STEM Programming and offer kids at every unit access to robotics and coding. We are thankful for this partnership and excited to see how far our kids take their new robotics teams!”
“AOG is committed to forming meaningful partnerships in the areas we serve, and we are honored to provide this resource for the next three years to local non-profits,” said Fred Kirkwood, Chief Customer Experience Officer for AOG.
The multi-year grant funding will go to establishing Lego Robotics teams at the Evans, Goldtrap, and Stephens Units.
