Rare and Vintage Book Sale – December 5 – 11, (Hours Vary)

The Friends of the Fort Smith Public Library will hold their Rare and Vintage Book Sale, December 5 – 11, at the Main Library. Sale hours will be:
- Monday (12/5) 12 PM – 7:30 PM
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday (12/6 – 12/9) 12 PM – 5 PM
- Saturday (12/10) 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Sunday (12/11) 1 – 5 PM
Just in time for the holidays, book lovers will find a broad assortment of books in this special sale including rare, vintage, and valuable titles. A range of topics are represented including art, religion, history, and much more with publication dates ranging from the 1800s to present. A list of the books included in the sale will be available at the sale and on the library’s website at www.fortsmithlibrary.org by December 2. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Friends of the Library. The Fort Smith Public Library is located at 3201 Rogers in Fort Smith. Nature Photographer and Author Tim Ernst to visit the Fort Smith Public Library

Nationally-known nature photographer Tim Ernst will visit the Fort Smith Public Library on Thursday, December 8th, at 6 PM. Take a break from your hectic schedule to enjoy scenic photography and inspirational words as Tim Ernst shares images from his latest picture book, Arkansas Greatest Hits. Fort Smith Public Library Hosts 20th Annual Holiday Open House

The Fort Smith Public Library will host their 20th annual Holiday Open House on Sunday, December 11th, from 1 – 5 PM. Celebrate the holiday season when the entire Fort Smith Public Library staff opens the doors of the Main Library for a festive afternoon of music, crafts, games, stories, photo opportunities, holiday displays, light refreshments, and other entertainment for children and adults. This Holiday Open House is FREE to all . . . Don’t forget to bring a non-perishable food item for the Holiday Food Drive!
