K-MAC Enterprises is celebrating the opening of its newest Taco Bell restaurant in Barling, Arkansas, featuring the innovative and technology-forward Kitchen X restaurant design. The new restaurant is located at 1434 Frontier Road in Barling, across from Chaffee Crossing.
The Barling location is the second Kitchen X restaurant K-MAC Enterprises has opened in Arkansas this year. “We are excited to bring this innovative Taco Bell experience to Barling and the growing Chaffee Crossing area,” said Theresa Estep, Vice President of Development & Purchasing for K-MAC Enterprises. “Kitchen X represents the future of how we serve our customers by combining technology, convenience and flexibility with a welcoming restaurant environment. Following our first Kitchen X opening in Greenbrier, we are thrilled to continue expanding this new concept in Arkansas, with Clinton already under construction and more opportunities ahead.”
What Makes Kitchen X Different?
Kitchen X is a highly efficient, multi-channel restaurant concept designed to create a more personalized and convenient experience for Taco Bell customers. The innovative layout provides multiple ways for guests to interact with the brand and choose how they want to order and receive their food.

- Outdoor Dining: An open-air, covered outdoor dining area provides guests with a comfortable place to sit and enjoy their meal or relax while waiting for an order.
- Convenient Pickup Options: Multiple avenues are available for customers and delivery aggregators to pick up orders. The pickup experience is conveniently located adjacent to ordering points and streamlines delivery, mobile and kiosk orders.
- Multiple Ordering Points: Several ordering options give customers greater flexibility and help reduce wait times and queue sizes.
The result is a Taco Bell experience that feels less like a traditional drive-thru stop and more like fast-casual dining — inviting guests to sit down, stay awhile and enjoy their favorite menu items.

Store Hours and Guest Access
For added convenience, the drive through, kiosk and mobile pickup area will be open until 2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
The restaurant’s traditional sit-down lobby area will be open until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
