INGREDIENTS
(makes 10)
2 cans Grands Pumpkin Spice Rolls
4 apples (I like Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, chopped
2 Tablespoons butter, unsalted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon Apple Pie Spice
METHOD
Spray baking dish with nonstick spray. Place apples, butter, sugar, apple pie spice and vanilla in a skillet over medium heat. Once butter is melted and sugar dissolved, turn heat to low, stir until apples have softened. Remove from heat and let cool.
Remove pumpkin spice rolls from container and place on a clean surface. One at a time, gently unroll each roll. Add a small amount of apple mixture along each strip. Roll back up and place in prepared baking dish. Bake according to package directions, cooking until desired doneness. Remove from oven, let cool, then top with pumpkin icing from the package. You can also make your own vanilla icing by combining 2 cups of powdered sugar, 1 Tablespoon of vanilla extract and a ¼ cup of whole milk. Add chopped nuts if desired, enjoy!
TIP: Want to make it even easier? Use apple pie filling instead!
