There’s something about the balance of sweet, citrus, and just a little heat that makes a margarita feel like summer in a glass—and this one delivers all three. Fresh pineapple brings a bright, tropical note, while lime keeps things crisp and refreshing. A hint of jalapeño adds just enough kick to keep it interesting, without overpowering the flavor. Whether you’re hosting friends or winding down at the end of a warm day, this Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita is an easy way to elevate the moment and savor the season.
INGREDIENTS
(serves 4)
8 oz. tequila, silver or reposado
8 oz. pineapple juice, fresh is best
4 oz. lime juice, fresh
2 oz. Cointreau
1–2 jalapeños, thinly sliced
1.5 – 2 oz. agave syrup
Tajín seasoning, for rim
pineapple wedges + jalapeño slices, garnish
METHOD
Rim four glasses with lime juice and dip in margarita salt. In a pitcher gently muddle the jalapeño slices. Add tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, Cointreau, and agave. Fill with ice and stir well. Strain into prepared glasses over fresh ice and garnish with a pineapple wedge and jalapeño slice. Tip: For a spicier kick, let the jalapeño slices sit in the mixture a few extra minutes before serving.
